It's summer! We got out the slip 'n' slide!
Cooper started out by just playing in the spraying water.
He assessed the situation trying to figure out if he could ride this thing correctly.
All the while, Miles played in the shade.
And climbed on things. He spends a lot of time climbing right now!
He also had a cracker to eat.
Cooper thinks he figured this thing out.
He started running down it and fell onto his backside.
Then he tried laying at the top but didn't move since he didn't use the running start.
Miles got bored and came over to play in the water.
Cooper told him it was fun and the spraying water was the best part of this thing.
Then "Neighvor Ethan" hopped over the fence to show everyone how it's done.
Ethan prefers the 'sliding down on my knees' method.
And Cooper seems to have sort of figured it out!
While Miles decided the leaves tasted better than his cracker.
So it was a successful afternoon of fun!

ReplyDeleteAlex just got to try out a slip-n-slide, too. I don't think he ever fully figured it out, despite having two six-year-olds showing him how. Looks like you all had a fun afternoon trying to stay cool!
