Bessmer Buds

We had a couple of my cousins here last week.  

Uncle Jay (not pictured), Ashley and TJ stayed with us while Ashely 

worked through the admissions process at MNU where she'll be attending in the fall. 

(About a half mile from our house!)

Cooper had so much fun with TJ...  they did a lot of playing.

Which included playing the Wii:

High five for a high score!

They brought a cool sandbox for Cooper.
And even brought some sand, although I was disappointed it was
the bagged kind since Bessmers live in the Nebraska Sand Hills.  :)
At least with the bagged kind you can guarantee no lizards came along.

TJ shot some hoops while Cooper tried out the new sandbox.

It was pretty hot so the boys did some more indoor activities.

A favorite evening activity was catching lightning bugs.

They make Chicago style pizza... YUMMY!
(We got at least three meals out of it!)

It was fun to have company for the week.

Cooper especially loved it since he was having cousin withdrawal!

It will be great to have Ashley live so close soon!
