Old Settlers Days

We're usually out of town for the Kansas State Fair during the first week of September.
So this is the first year we've been home to attend Old Settlers Days in Olathe.

We went Saturday morning to watch the parade.
We got there a little late and got a spot at the tail end of the parade route...
with cars parked on the street. But it worked for us and Cooper had fun watching for what was next.

He got excited watching them come down the street:

And then waved as they went by:

We used our Moby Wrap from Amy... we love it!

Miles had a nice nap during the parade:

Derek, Cooper and "The King"-

Our church - Life Church - is involved in the parade every year. It was fun to see them go by:

That's our worship team dressed as the Beatles:

After the parade we got some snacks.
Cooper got a roasted ear of corn:

Cooper loves corn!

We also enjoyed a funnel cake... YUM!

Then we let Cooper go on a couple rides.

He loved it and would have stayed all day!

We also went by the Life Church booth where Cooper got a stick on tatoo:

And an orange-n balloon!

We had a great time! Even though Mommy opened the car door and let the
orange-n balloon out and it flew way... Cooper cried big tears. Oops.
