He's the Man

Today is:

1) Father's Day!

2) Derek's Birthday!

First of all - Happy Father's Day to our Dads and Grandpas.

We appreciate each of you and love you very much.

And - Happy Father's Day and Happy Birthday to Derek!

We adore him and all he does for us. I thought this would be the perfect occasion to post

some pictures of the adventure Cooper had with his Daddy the night we got home from Wichita.

First they found a little tiny toad. This is when I heard Derek say, "Don't squeeze him so tight".

Here I think Derek is checking to make sure it's still alive:

He was. So they gave him a new home in my flowers:

Then they went on a hunt for lightning bugs:

They got one! Cooper loved playing outside with Daddy for a while.

Derek is an amazing husband and father. He does so much for us and we thank God for him.
