Derek's Birthday/Father's Day

We had a nice day celebrating Derek's Birthday and Father's Day.

We started off with breakfast and a trip to the Bass Pro Shop.

Then Cooper gave Daddy the gifts he picked out at Dollar Tree. (all by himself)

Cooper was excited for Daddy to open them...

Because they were toys! :)

Derek's family was headed home from a trip to Iowa - So they stopped by to celebrate for a while.

Cooper had a Father's Day gift for Grandpa. He also picked this out all by himself.

Then he caught a little nap before dinner.

After dinner Grandma took him out to ride his tricycle:

Then we lit the candles on the cake:

And sang "Happy Birthday" to Derek:

Is that a cherry missing?

Yep! And no fingers needed, Cooper just leaned over and ate it right off!

We enjoyed cake and then everyone headed home.

It was a great day!
