"Christmas" Morning

Growing up it was always a tradition to open gifts in
the evening and stockings the next morning.
And that's what we did this year too.
Saturday morning we woke up watched
Cooper open his stocking and ate quiche.

Cooper and his stocking:

One of the first gifts was a green foam football:

It was the only thing he wanted to play with after he opened it.

He humored us and looked at other gifts...but the football was never far away!

He played with his news toys again.

But kept coming back to the football!

Derek says geniuses pick green. :)

I noticed later in the day that the nativity pieces have
upgraded from a stable to a red barn:

Cooper is enjoying his new toys!
(along with the nativity, that's a sheep in his hand)

  3. This is a really great idea since you'll be out of town on Christmas & Christmas Eve. I wish I would have thought of this when my kids were little. They don't know any different between Dec. 21st & Dec. 25th. How fun!!
