Owen's Birthday Afternoon

After I talked Owen into a short birthday photo session with me...   :)

We headed to the aquarium, something he'd been begging to do!

We got right to it, petting shrimp.

And saying hello to the eel.

His big brothers like to help him learn all sorts of creature facts as we walk around.

A look at the tank from underwater.

And we watched an employee scrubbing rocks for a while.

These guys know Mama likes them to pose for photos often too. :)

They got to pet the sting rays.  The sharks were being shy.

And a piggy back ride for the birthday boy.

Who got to feed the turtles for free!

Usually you pay a couple dollars to do this, so we never have, but the boys were telling creature facts asking questions to the gentleman working near the turtles, and they mentioned it was Owen's birthday.

He let gave him free turtle food (carrot pieces!)!

And a turtle stamp on his hand.  It was a fun treat!

Cooper always asks for photos with the fish...  they have human like teeth, apparently!

And the beaver, who is rarely out of it's den was active... and gave the boys (Okay, mostly ME!) a good laugh!

Then it was time to find Owen and go!

It was a fun Birthday afternoon!
