The night before Owen's birthday, after he fell asleep, we hung streamers on his doorway.
But then he slept in the next morning and Daddy was trying to get him to stir before he left for work. :)
It wasn't working.

He did wake up in time for a quick Happy Birthday before Derek left.
And was excited about the Paw Patrol balloon from his bros.
He requested pancakes for breakfast.
And couldn't wait to help make his cake!
And my "make" I really just mean "sample".
He told me he wanted sprinkles, and he wanted the 'flat round kind'.
These are what he picked at the store. They're the same as last year's and this kid doesn't forget.
He also sampled these.
