December Events

We love December around here! But it's so busy! Since I've slacked off blogging... I'm going to recap some of the events for you.

We got our tree up! And love to enjoy coffee or hot cocoa (whipped cream) with it in view.
December brings lots of school theme days, including pajama day!
(scored these jams for Owen for $2 for this fun event!)

It means class parties... and that Owen's Santa suit isn't as out of place as it is in July!😂

And he's not even the only one sporting the look! Ha!
He made Santa's day showing up at our local Bass Pro Shop dressed as the big guy!

We went to check out the Rhema Christmas Lights, this is an annual event now, so cool!

This year we went with friends and really enjoyed it!

We snuck in a lunch sushi date!

And Cooper went to his first middle school skate night.

Miles' school had a donation of Blue Bell (the factory is just down the street) Mardi Grau flavored ice cream and sent a gallon home with every student!

Basketball practices started.

And Derek held his annual fruitcake bake.

And I ended up making a few more cookies because I'd forgotten about my leg lamp cookie cutter! ha!

We delivered Christmas cookies to all our neighbors and sang "We Wish You a Merry Christmas" at each door.  These guys are good sports. I mean, you know Owen is all in, but I've got a pre teen now. :)

We also went to Miles' class party, on pajama day.

It started after Owen was out of school, so he got to come along.

The kids sang in church.

Owen is shy on stage for someone who sports a Santa suit year round.

But he wasn't along in his festive attire! So we snapped a photo with his cute friends.

Then we wrapped and prepped for our faux Christmas at home!
