After we took our friends to the the Center of the universe, we headed to The Gathering Place.
There were a few clouds, so we entered wondering if we were going to get rained on.
It was nearly noon, so we found a covered place to eat our picnic lunch.
Then headed off to explore the (ginormous) park!
With all it's unusual playgrounds.
And swings that entertain all ages.
And slides, lots of them.
It did not rain, and in fact, got rather hot. So the water parts of the park were a hit!
And all boys were soaks immediately.
The dads helped their progress a bit too. :)
So everyone took a ride on the zip line to dry off.
And ran through a few more playgrounds.
The adults were outnumbered though, and honestly, I'm surprised we didn't lose any boys! haha.
There are so many things to climb on, and over, and disappear into!
Derek had his turn coming down a slide after he went in to track down a kiddo.
One last stop to try and get lost in the mirror maze...
And we stopped for ice cream on the way home!
We played a game for Farkle that evening.
Then put all the boys to bed in the 'Boys Dorm' - The upstairs game room.
