Derek and I got the kids eating lunch out at the farm, then decided to run back into town to catch the bathtub race! This is a fun event every year where they fill the bathtub with water, measure it, then send a team, driver inside steering, down Main Street through the cones...
And back! While the whole town throws water balloons at them! The team with the fastest time and least water spilled is the winner.
It's a riot and typically just turns into a town water balloon fight!
Fun Fact: We entered the year we were engaged. I drove the tub while Derek, his Dad, and Uncles pushed. And we won! :)
We arrived back at the farm to find G'ma Debbie was entertaining the kiddos with fireworks. haha.
Uncle Tyler was the man with the fire and supervising.
That was fun for some Independence Day entertainment.
