The Reception

We arrived at the reception...


A very pretty barn decorated so lovely!

Lots of fun little touches.

Including deer sheds since Andy is a hunter.

Owen found the popcorn...

And wanted to make sure everyone else was informed too.

He also got to have a Pepsi from the bar, and when put in his provided wedding Koozie, it looked a lot like he was sipping a Bud Light! 🙈

The wedding party arrived and Andy and Tara did their first dance.

Then there was time to visit with family.
This is Derek's Grandpa on the right, talking to his brother. This is not the Grandpa Derek shares with Tara, but G'pa's brother is Tara's Grandpa!  Haha!  Did you follow that?  Derek's Mom and her cousin (Tara's Mom) married brothers.  So Derek's Grandpa is Tara's Great Uncle.  Somehow, I don't even have a photo of G'pa Don, the G'pa Derek does share with Tara.

Derek spent some time chatting with these grandparents.


While the couple made the rounds talking to their guests at the tables.


Speaking of tables, here is ours.

And another next to us.

It wasn't long before dinner was served.

And Miles put his Pepsi in a Koozie too.
And didn't understand why this (again) made us chuckle. 😂
