Garden Update

After we started our seeds, the soil was watched very closely!
One morning, we noticed the tiniest little sprouts peeking up!

We set them outside in the sun during the day...

And brought them back in at night.  And sure enough, they were growing!

The beans really grew!  This was pretty exciting!

The weather warmed up enough that it was time to transplant them outside.

With the garden prepped, in they went.

Good job, guys! :)

Our little plants were doing okay, but some were tiny and didn't survive the transplant.  So we grabbed a few heartier plants to add to it.

Just trying to improve our chances of actually getting a harvest...   haha.

Derek started planting them.

And Owen was in charge of watering.

And watering.

And watering some more!  The big boys started watering too.

But got a little distracted watering each other!

Sorry for the funny shaped videos, I've been shooting more portrait mode videos for Instagram stories, then they look funny for the blog!

Over the next few days we had a few spots in the garden that looked like something was digging.  SO Derek set up a trial camera to find out who the culprit was.  Turns out it's a neighborhood cat!

And: BUSTED!
NOT a balance beam, boys!!

(Conversation about YouTube gamers and getting rich. *Insert eyeroll* ha!)

And they've got to keep their soccer ball out of there too!  Poor little plants!
