Cooper got a turkey tag for youth season this year.
So Derek took him out to see if they could get him a bird.
And found a little frog.
While I took the other two boys on another kind of hunt!
For Easter Eggs!
For Easter Eggs!
This was at a church near us that Owen nicknamed, "The Jesus Castle" because of the stained glass windows and steeple. :)
They showed a video about the Easter story before the hunt. They didn't even get to the 'good part' when Owen shouted, "But He didn't stay dead!"!! Spoiler Alert. haha!
Then we took our buckets and headed outside.
And waited for the "GO" whistle.
Owen's group had so many eggs that it was a nice leisurely hunt. He just walked around picking up eggs.
And filled his bucket long before they were all found.
Miles group was a little more competitive, but he made out very well too!
We got to see the Easter Bunny, who Owen wouldn't stand by, he wanted Miles between them.
Then we hit up the bounce house...
And played a few games.
It was a fun hunt!
And a successful one!
Unfortunately, Cooper's was not.
Derek has decided the turkeys might have moved off the lease property when the farmer sprayed the bean field. Bummer.
Miles had a little backyard hunt also... Finding his truest treasure, a little creature.
I would like to apologize to my sister, Angie, for not warning her before hand that there was a snake photo in this post! Hahahahaha. Sorry, not sorry.
