Well, water heater: Broken!
Sometime between the boys all having showers and me prepping to take an evening bath, there was no more hat water! So on a Friday morning, we called someone to come look at it, since we still (THANKFULLY!) have the home warranty included in the purchase of the house.
I took the boys to school, who (THANKFULLY!) had showered the night before, then boiled enough water to take a sponge bath.
Because we needed to be packed an load the car...
After school was out and Derek got home we were hitting the road.

We headed toward Nebraska for Derek's cousin's wedding.
We ended up taking some back roads to avoid road closures due to flooding.

We made it just after midnight... and found quite a greeting in the front lobby. :)
We said HI to family and headed for bed!
