Our last afternoon, we headed to the scenic view.
I didn't think I was afraid of heights, but this had my head and stomach feeling a bit funny.
It was a great view of the city, and part of Mexico, from there.
And it wasn't a drop straight down over that wall, even though it looks like it.
Miles walked through my photo and it turned out pretty funny. :)
Next we drove down to El Paso street to walk around.
Some of us walked anyway.
Derek always likes to research the most unusual things to see when we visit a new city...
Enter Dave's Pawn Shop.
Where Pancho Villa's Trigger finger is on display!
You can go ahead and google it if you want to more about this.
But as you can see, Derek was very pleased to witness this in person!
All the guys were less pleased, thought snacks helped...
To sit around while us girls shopped a little.
A churro from a cart on the street helped though.
We walked to the end of the street, which is the border of Mexico, took this photos and walked back.
(Miles chasing birds)
Until Ronnie got off work and we met him at L&J's for dinner.
Where Jacob had to be the one to tell the host that his mom gave them the wrong number of people in our party... 😂😂😂
Derek took this table selfie.
And cut himself out.
So I took a photo of him with his tacos. ha.
And Cooper with his nachos too!
This guy loves his nachos.
I'd brought Jaedyn an early birthday gift... so we let her open it.
Then it was goodbyes and off to bed before an early morning departure!
