Thankfully, we were completely healthy through the entire Christmas season.
But January hit us hard! It started with typical colds. All five of us.
Which lead to coughs. Owen asked for popsicles and was very specific about the kind. I thought we were going to strike out, but found what he wanted back by the kool-aid and sports drinks.
And then the fevers started.
Which meant sick days from school.
And a lot of laying around.
We were pretty wiped out. It was all we could do to get around some days.
We'd have days that I thought everyone was finally over it, then they'd all act like they couldn't be upright again.
More fevers, body aches, coughing... oh the coughing.
Owen obviously didn't mind brothers at home laying around. :)
It was on and off, but a lot of January was spent nursing someone back to health. So I delcared {out loud, oops} that February had to be better! So when we started that month with a stomach bug, I was rather defeated.
Miles kept that one to himself though and was over it quickly! Whew.
We all seem to be on the mend, though someone complains of a sore throat now and then, and we've still been going through tissues like crazy. The boys' school actually had a specialized team come in last weekend to sanitize everything! It's been a bad season of sickness for EVERYONE.
