Soggy Zoo Day

Derek went hunting one Saturday morning, so I took the boys to the zoo.

We knew there was a chance of rain, but decided to take our umbrellas and go for it!
Spoiler Alert:  It rained!

These little monkeys didn't care. :)

And I think it was the cool, rainy weather that made the animals active.
We saw the grizzly bear moving around.

And the bobcat.

The snow leopard.

And the tiger!

Even the snakes were active and moving.

...maybe because there was a zoo keeper cleaning out the anaconda cage.
With the anaconda still in it!  Yikes.

Yep, rainy and cool makes them all crazy. :)

But we had fun and were completely soaked.

Just a little soaked.

The stroller did more umbrella holding than Owen riding.

Because he likes to run to keep up with the big bros.

Last stop (and usually first too) is the chimpanzees.  Cooper wore his LED shoes and showed the chimps.

It got their attention and a couple of them came over to check it out.

We're really enjoying getting to know the Tulsa Zoo. (Thanks to our Peoria Life Group friends💙)
Even on rainy days!
