Derek's parents came for an overnight visit. It's always fun to have them on "our turf" and show them where we live. The boys soaked in every second of it, scrolling through photos of pets on g'ma's phone and repeatedly asking g'pa to look at bugs through the microscope. :)
We also played a game of Clue.
The big boys played along anyway.
Owen was getting sleepy by that point and just wanted to snuggle G'ma.
The next morning, G'ma took him for a walk/bike ride around the block.
She was impressed with his balance bike skills.
Then we all took a walk to our neighborhood park.
Where there was immediate creature searching.
And catching, of course!
Owen didn't mind having G'pa all to himself.
Mile caught a few more creatures before we made him all it quits and head back to clean up.
So we could go to lunch. We ate at a local favorite: Fat Guys!
Speaking of favorites: Miles loves ketchup.
