I don't have a green thumb, but it was time to pull some weeds out of the front flower bed and hope to leave all the right plants in place. Owen begged to use a pair of gardening gloves...
And worked twice as hard to grab at the weeds than he would have without them.
I'm not sure what all he pulled, but he managed a few!
But he mostly wandered around with said glove on.
It takes us a bit longer, because there are always some cicada shells to pile up.
And snails to find.
Pulling weeds is basically code for: Find all the bugs, worms, snails, grubs and snakes. 😖
A few sprinkles of rain fell on us so the boys immediately thought they needed umbrellas.
A 'rain delay'?
Cooper just used weeds instead of an umbrella.
We finished up and made it inside before the big drops fell.
