While we were in Wichita, we joined my parent's church for a picnic they'd had planned. We headed to a local park and joined in on some lawn games.
Uncle Drew helped Cooper climb a tree.
Then played a game of bocci ball with Owen.
Dad grilled up a bunch of hot dogs.
And the kids climbed all over the playground.
Owen and his cousin, Kyndall, rode the slide.
Miles and Cooper teeter tottered.
And Uncle Drew was there helping again, this time Owen got a lift.
And some help with the heavy machinery.
...though it seems maybe Uncle Drew was actually just waiting for one to open up for himself. :)
Then it was time to eat!
Which allowed Mamas to talk for a few mintues.
Then we walked over to the splash pad.
Where the kids had a great time!
Even the biggish kids.
Cooper still had gel in his hair, so when it got wet he tried out a new style.
Once all the kids, and some parents, were all wet...
It was time to dry off a little.
Wrap up and get warm.
Lyla let Cooper hold her for a bit, this cousin takes a while to 'warm up'. ha.
There was time for a little dessert before it was time to leave.
