BA Pool Day

I mentioned that we started to feel the urgency of summer drawing to a close...
so we decided we needed to go check out the Broken Arrow Public Pool.

The boys and I spent the entire afternoon at one of our local pools.

Owen was bummed he didn't meet the height requirement to ride the slides.

And Miles was a little scared that he would be scared.  haha.

But once he went down once, he thought it was great! 

So these two rode them over and over.

That was also when they told us that Owen can't wear his water wings at the pool.

So we headed over to check out the baby pool. 

But soon saw the bin of life jackets available to use, so we headed back to the big pool.

Where Cooper and Miles had found the diving boards.

And jumped off about 42 times in 10 minutes.

Then I looked over and saw Cooper doing a flip off the board.  Then 84 more times. Ha.

Since the pool has a zero entry side, Owen could play in the 2ft water.

It was perfect for him to go under and reach the dive sticks.

He's a little fish and loves the water!

But it does wear him out. 

And he didn't get a nap that day.

So we put away the life jacket and grabbed the reluctant big boys in effort to head home.

Owen was so worn out though, he was falling asleep mid-snack by the time we got back to our house!
