On Memorial Day, we didn't wait long after breakfast to head to the pool.
Our friends, Marshall, Ashely, Levi and Knox, joined us that day to swim.
It was a relaxing morning/early afternoon at the pool.
We parted ways to eat lunch and have naps for some family members. Then we headed over to another friend's house for their annual Memorial Day cookout.
It's always a great party with great food.
And fun people to hang out with.
The kids played foursquare.
And had a water fight.
That went on for quite a while.
Although this photo looks like it, it wasn't all the intense.
And the littler crowd took their turn too.
None of the kids cared about being wet, since it was really hot.
So we could hose them off after eating cupcakes.
Cause... wow.
You know it was a good party when you have frosting in your ear???
Last was the main event! The piñata!
From youngest to oldest, the kids got to swing at it.
Then gather all the candy.
Headed home back to the hotel with a sack full of candy!
It was fun to get in on one last Wake Memorial Day cookout.
