Owen fell asleep once Derek was seated for the ceremony. He slept through all the excitement of the rain shower and while everyone chaotically filed into the barn for the reception.
Izzie was with us and we were to occupy her for a while. iPod and m&m's it is! ha.
Since we skipped right over the outdoor mingling part of the plan, the caterer was still setting up while we were seated.
They were coming around placing a pad of butter on everyone's bread plate.
I ran over to the chicken coop to help some wedding party and family touch up rain soaked hair.
And that's when Derek sent me a photo saying that Izzie had finished her m&m's and eaten her cute little butter!! hahaha.
It didn't take long for the wedding party and bride and groom to be introduced.
Our seats were upstairs.
So the littles had a great view of the introductions.
Not much longer at all and we were being served dinner. The kids got chicken tenders and fries!
And the chicken, steak and risotto was amazing!
Everyone finished eating, then it was time to wait for cake.
