After we wrapped up our garage sale, we decided we'd go to a nearby Mexican Restaurant, since it was Cinco de Mayo after all. We went to Junction City, near our house.
We enjoyed dinner, while Owen enjoyed mostly the lemons.
Then we walked over to the ice cream shop.
Which led us past the large chess game. The boys have been begging to go play this for months!
Owen likes chess pieces as big as he is!
And the main reason for our second stop:
Cooper had gotten a Sweet Cece's gift card from a friend for his birthday. So we got some self serve fro-yo.
Ice cream eaten, chess game played... we called it a night! Whew.
