Book Worm Miles

My Miles has become quite the bookworm.  He nearly taught himself how to read simply because he wanted to know what things said to gain information, and still loves to grab a book and take it in.   He can be found with a book open at church dinners...

Very often in the car, most often leaving his reading light on when he gets out.

(He's rather absent minded, this one)

In the great outdoors...

...reading to his his brothers. 

And even over breakfast.

The library has become his happy place.

And when he found out we could put "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" books on hold and go pick them up... He got to read most of the series very quickly!

Then he decided he wanted to own them and started saving his money to buy them.

He had some birthday Amazon gift cards and ordered the very newest book in the series!

Then after Christmas he had more gift cards to start finishing off his collection.

He was thrilled each time one arrived in the mail!

And his collection grew nicely.

He's ventured out into other series, like Captain Underpants.

And DogMan.

And I have to keep him from trying to smuggle too many to school at once.
