Weinert Wedding - Louisville Slugger Museum (Part One)

Owen thinks wrestling matches are the best way to wake up his brothers!

So, now that we were up, we headed to breakfast.

It was nice to be able to visit over breakfast, because after that, we were all headed our separate ways.  Some to the airport, some to church, some on the road toward home.

We decided to make one last stop before we left town.  The Louisville Slugger Museum and Factory.

My sister, Angie, did have to fly out until later than everyone else, so she joined us.

The boys enjoyed having her around to play! :)

We saw the Bat Vault. Before most of the factory was computerized, these were the templates for the machines to make different shapes of baseball bats.

There were so many!

Then we went on a tour of the factory.  Sadly, for the second time that weekend, I was told "No photos, please.".  Hahahaha.  They don't let you take pictures in the factory.  So...  you'll just have to take my word for it that it was interesting and fun!  It really was.

And at the end, we all got a souvenir miniature bat.

This was a highlight for the boys.

Owen was quite thrilled with his little bat!

Having Angie along, we had a personal photographer. :)

She took a bunch of me trying to get everyone to look in the same direction...

And we still didn't get one! haha.  Good enough.

Cooper posed beside the Babe Ruth statue.

And we saw Babe's bat and a hand written note.

There were also more modern exhibits, like the pitching screen, all the boys gave it a try.
