On Christmas morning, Derek's Dad had to work. So we got around and headed to my parent's house for a little while. We stopped at Quick Trip on the way over and grabbed up pretty much all the donuts they had left!
When we got there, we found out Ronnie was in the kitchen making up delicious omelettes... so while the kids enjoyed the donuts, the adults had omelettes. Yum.
Speaking of the kids... they had a great time playing together that morning. Minecraft! Each on their own device. (insert eye roll) Ha. They were in all a 'world' together playing at least.
We didn't stay long and then bundled back up and said goodbye... to Daisy.
And soon, back at Mleyneks, Mason was back ready to play.
And Debbie made soup while Derek worked on his oyster stew.
I thought it was his best batch yet, well all enjoyed it.
Well... most of us. You can probably tell by Owen's face how he feels about oyster stew.

There were a few more shenanigans and some dance lessons while we waited for Dale to get home.
