Festival of Lights 2017

We made our (almost) annual trip to the Festival of Lights in East Peoria.

We all have our favorites, but this year, Owen was thrilled about the train.

I personally enjoy the sections where you get to drive through lighted "tunnels". :)

Even more, I enjoy my kids awe over the lights.  💙
And we got a pretty good laugh about Cooper calling the peacock a turkey! 

I apologize for making you listen to his coughing fit in the midst of that too. :-/

The boys always have favorites they point out, mostly the ships.

And of course, the Batmobile.

And....   a second train!

Santa is at the end waving goodbye.

We always drive down the street to see the Nativity too.

And appreciate that they have the wise men visiting a toddler Jesus at a house, rather than the manger.  Ha ha.   Merry Christmas!
