Cooper's Lego League had a buyout day, the kids could pay one dollar to wear an outfit they made out of something reusable or recyclable. We talked about it before hand, and I was under the impression that we weren't going to participate... then the morning of, Cooper freaked out because he didn't make an outfit. So... at all before 7am, we crafted a jacket and tie out of walmart bags.
And put a Target bag around his chest.
I made a watch to accessorize just a bit. :)
And.... an outfit made of trash.
Whew! Got them out the door on time even!
At school that day, the Lego Team gave a presentation about recycling, then showed their robot and demonstrated it completing missions.
