The last weekend of October was a really exciting and busy one! It started with a drive to Galesburg to the AmTrak station.
Because G'ma Debbie had boarded a train in Kansas City that morning with our nephew, Mason!
And they were on their way to visit!
(Mostly to help out with our boys while Derek and I played three shows in three nights with Parental Petulance)
Owen loves watching the trains while we wait.
We didn't have to wait long and their train pulled in and everyone unloaded!
Then Owen got shy and goofy. Ha.
G'ma gave him kisses and we loaded up for the ride home.
Where Mason and Owen started playing with cars immediately.
I tried to convince Owen to take a nap, but he was too wound up.
And soon it was time to go pick up Cooper and Miles from school.
Everyone was excited and ready for a fun weekend!
That first night ended with a game of chess before bed. Owen had already asked to go to bed since he skipped his nap. :)
