The first weekend of November, we made a pie and headed to Iowa for the annual Mleynek family Thanksmas.
We left home after Derek got off work, so we arrived around midnight.
The next morning, we spent some time hanging around G'pa Don's.
Derek worked on fletching some arrows.
While Debbie worked on some sides for the meal, including her yummy cranberry salad.
Owen ate some of the grapes while she worked.
We headed over to Uncle Dennis and Aunt Kelly's for the festivities. Tyler and Lauren were already there... so we got to meet the new baby, Sawyer, right away!
Cooper wanted to hold him but the handoff made him fuss a little.
But Cooper worked him though it and he calmed down.
So Miles took his turn too.
And they even gave me a turn. :)
Then he met Uncle Derek('s beard). 😊
I'm pretty sure he liked Uncle Derek... 😏
