The Saturday morning of our Kansas visit found Derek in the woods...
Waaaaaaaay up high.
Hanging tree stands in preparation for his fall deer hunt.
I'm thankful he's a committed harness wearing hunter. Whew!
Saturday morning also found my littler boys at the zoo with G'pa Dale & G'ma Debbie!
Debbie sent me lots of great photos of the fun.
And even told me about how Owen quacked at the penguins! 😂
Most of the photos are of the boys on fake animals... statues around the zoo. Ha!
But they seemed to be enjoying themselves!
And maybe a little timid of the real, live animals.
They got a close up with a gorilla.
And must have needed a break on a bench.
...but a lot of posing with statues! :)
They all came back with a little souvenir too!! Owen picked out this cute little tiger, perfect for snuggling that night.
Or at least for being silly!
