You may remember that Miles lost a tooth at Whataburger on our road trip in July...
That crazy tooth had been wiggled and fussed with for SO long before that.
Before we left for our trip, Derek tried to convince him to get it outta there.
By tying a YoYo to it...
And letting it drop!
This ended up giving all of us quite a few laughs!
But... that tooth was still in there!
Miles even tried biting into an apple to see if it would pop out. Nope!
He spent a lot of our road trip wiggling it.
And then that day at Whataburger when Owen brushed Miles mouth with his forearm reaching for a drink... Owen got the soda and Miles' tooth was on the floor! Miles stood up and said, "It's gone!" before he even looked for the tooth. (He'd somehow already eaten his cheeseburger with that tooth dangling in his mouth!)
Once we were back home, Miles put his tooth under his pillow for the tooth fairy. He found this in the morning.
A few weeks later, and a lot of the same saga, the other top tooth came out too...after he'd already been tucked in for the night. That was pretty short notice for the tooth fairy!
In the morning, instead of the typical $1, Miles found $.20 with this note.
It was sometime during that day that the whole story came out... Miles lost his tooth after lights out and wasn't going to tell anyone, just slip it under his pillow to see if the tooth fairy came! He must not have been able to keep quiet, because when he told Cooper he lost the tooth, Coop yelled, "Miles lost his tooth!" and blew the whole plan... 😂😂😂 The morning after we heard all this, Miles found this note, along with the typical $1.
What a crazy kid. I sure do love him and his silly personality.
(Maybe he got it from the tooth fairy...eh I mean...his Dad?!)
I'm also kind of a sucker for a cute, toothless grin!!
