The second morning at Roaring River, they boys moved just a little slower, but were still motivated to get out to fish a little before we packed up. Catch and release only, since we couldn't take 'em with us.
They nicknamed the area closest to the the hatchery, "Fishtopia" because of all the fish you can see.
(Or at least the water is calmer and doesn't disguise them.)
That's where Coop snagged one that morning.
Derek got one too.
And then another!
Poor Miles didn't catch one that day.
But it's still a good day if you're fishing!
They came back to pack up, but while Derek started that, I talked him into letting me take the kiddos for a quick 'last dip' in the pool. Owen hadn't had a chance to swim yet! So off we went for a short swim...
These guys love to swim.
Side Note: Miles gets his swim shirt on backward 99% of the time!
It was a little chilly, so as excited as Owen was, it surprised him.
But he soon acclimated and the sun came back out to help us out.
Derek showed up to take a few photos of all of us...
then he took Owen back to the room while I reminded by biggest boy that I can still swim fastest! :)
A few swim races, showers, loading up and we hit the Ozark roads again! Arkansas bound!
