Solutions

Friday is library day.   Today we'll be dressing differently, since the high is 76º (but chance of rain), but last week, it felt like winter when we went to the library.  All that explanation to tell you about Owen's new vehicle for using the book drop.  A chair. 

We headed into the library last week and there was a (smarter than me) Mama with her toddler siting on a chair depositing his books into the book return.  She was shuffling around the younger sibling and once they were done she was trying to get the chair out of our way.  I was like, "Just leave that thing there, we'll us it!  You're brilliant.".   And, "Duh, why didn't I think of that."!   Owen loves this independence!

 Now, if I could just find a solution for my Miles' dawdling... 

We're always waiting on him. 

My family will tell you I deserve this child, because that exactly how I was. :)   I'll have to keep an eye out for smarter Mama's around me to see if they have solutions.   Until then, I guess I'm content to let him stop to smell the roses (look at bugs).
