"Grandma" Pam completely set up a date for Derek and I to enjoy one Saturday evening. She gave us tickets to the play "Once". And then came over to watch the boys while we grabbed dinner before the play. We tried a new sushi place near our house. Verdict: YUM!
We found our seats at the theater, one we've never been to before, it was nice!
The play had a lot of music! It was fun the way all the actors played the accompaniment right on stage. There were also no set changes so the way they 'set' their scenes was very creative.
We really enjoyed it!

We might or might not have missed a little part right in the middle of the play because we snuck across the street to a sports bar to catch the end of the KU game. :) Sadly, the Jayhawks were eliminated from the NCAA Tournament that night. We didn't let it spoil our fun evening though.
