After ice skating, relaxing and playing board games was in order.
And some snuggling and reading as babies woke up from naps.
Or snuggling and going down for a nap for others!
The littles played with toys. Or a toy! 😊
And Lexa ate a piece of Uncle Derek's fruitcake.
She liked it!
Somewhere in there, Owen had a lightsaber battle with Jaedyn.
This was the evening we had deemed "Girls Night"! So we left the kids with daddies and us sisters headed to dinner. We even talked Mom into joining us.
While the rest of them ate spaghetti..
Us ladies enjoyed excellent food at Georges French Bistro.
I ordered the scallops, which are served over gnocchi. It was one of my favorite things I've ever eaten... so good!
Meanwhile, the guys decided to take all the kids to Cabelas.
My boys feel about Cabelas, the same as they do about Bass Pro Shop...
They love it, of course!
It entertained everyone for a long time.
So long, that as we were finishing up with coffee and dessert...
They guys were just heading to grab ice cream.
I don't know what Miles picked out, but he came back with these colors all.over.him.
I beat them all back to Mleyneks that night. So even though we'd deemed it "Girls Night", "Guys with Kids Night" actually lasted longer! 😀
