Hello. With the chaos that Christmas and traveling brings, I didn't get around to updating this blog at all. I'm still using a 'work around' to upload photos, but I'm going to try and catch up. I thought about just picking up with present events, but this is, after all, my scrapbook that documents our lives. So, going back in time, I'm catching up. :)
If you remember last, we were at Thanksmas in Iowa. The big boys received 'Spinner Sharks' from Grandpa Don. They opened them in the kitchen at home but soon discovered they needed much more space. ha.
Our neighbors across the street have given permission for the boys to use their driveway anytime. And since their driveway lacks all the wheel grabbing cracks that ours has, it's a great arrangement. :) This doesn't help the bruises... oh.my. the bruises!
They always wear their helmets and.... spoiler alert: G'ma Debbie got them knee/shin guards for Christmas! Ha.
We were only home part of the week after Thanksmas. It was enough time to clean up a branch that fell on the patio. Apparently shoes are optional.
And go to the library to stock up on book and DVDs for another road trip.
And a quick stop at Aldi for road trip snacks.
Then before we knew it, we were in Wichita where Daisy Dog greeted us!
She keeps an eye on him, but lets Owen manhandle her and love her.
There were no cousins at G'ma's house when we arrived, so Owen pushed Handy Manny around in the little pink stroller.
But was soon trying to talk Daisy into some play time again.
Coop and Miles tried to talk Daisy into cuddling with them all night.
She made it most of it, but somehow ended up near Papa by morning.
