Thanksgiving!

Hey look, It's January 11th and I'm finally posting about Thanksgiving!  Derek went out to the tree stand for a little while that morning.  But saw nothing.  At all.  He joked that the deer must be on holiday.  I stayed warm enjoying my coffee while watching the Thanksgiving Day Parade.

Cooper and Miles played a game of Spot It.

And we FaceTimed with Izzie who lives in California.

Derek was back in good time to enjoy the day with us.

We ate with the Bauers at lunch time.  The kids table had a chicken instead of a turkey, per Ethan's insistence request.  Haha!  

Owen might have a bad habit of peeking during prayer. 😏

We thanked God for the food and all we have...  then dug in.

YUM!

Lexa helped Owen now and then.

But he didn't have a problem eating.  It was yummy.

So was the pie for dessert!

After lunch there was just enough time for Legos.

Then we headed to Mleyneks for round two!

Mason was there and decided Cooper was his favorite cousin to follow around. 

We enjoyed eating and relaxing.

And...  more dessert!

The kids had popsicles.  They were blue, if you couldn't tell. 😆

Owen made the rounds to test everyone's dessert.

He also had a good time with the toys G'ma Debbie has kept around.

There might have been just a little cat chasing too...

He found out G'ma Debbie has bells too!  G'ma, Owen and Mason had a great time performing a song (or something resembling music) for us. 

Whew.  We slept good that night!
