First Snow

We woke up one Sunday morning to a little white stuff on the ground.

We kind of love to see it around our house!

Even if it's barely enough to cover the grass.

Thankfully, it was a week that Derek didn't have to go to church early.  He got to drive in it, I don't like to.

We made it to church just fine and ate donuts...

Then had Christmas Program practice.

By the time church was over, there was even more snow. 

And by the time we wrapped up all responsibilities at church,

Cooper & Miles had made a little snowman.

This was the first snow Owen remembered.  He learned how to catch the flake on his tongue.

Then we headed home.  Our neighborhood was starting to look like a winter wonderland.

Thanks to the crockpot prepping lunch for us all morning,

we enjoyed moose meat chili for lunch.  Perfect for a snowy day.
