Spring Break in Wichita - Part 3

Up next, following the baby 'sprinkle' was a birthday party for my nephew, Ethan!
(Yes, we like to pack as much as possible into our days! ha)

We lit the candles on his solar system themed cake and sang "Happy Birthday".

Miles told me that saturn was delicious.

Cake consumed, it was time to smash the piñata.

When Cooper's turn came, he smashed the thing open.

And the chaos began!

Once they'd collected fistfuls of candy.
(And then asked me to hold it.)

Uncle Drew helped hang up the empty piñata for the kids that hadn't had a turn to swing at.

This included Miles.  Empty or not, this was fun for a while.

Then back inside, Ethan opened gifts.

And there might have been a cake fight.
Jake learned not to mess with Uncle Drew.

The babies played with glow sticks.

And then had a tea party.

Lexa showed Owen exactly how it's done.

Owen also learned first hand that Uncle Jared's love language is wrestling.

After a few astronauts posed in the Photo Booth...

Yes, even Owen...

The party wound down and Owen spent some time getting to know Great Grandma Bauer.
