Birthday iPod

Cooper has been haphazardly saving his money for an iPod for at least a year.  He would get sidetracked at times, and spend some money on a toy (i.e. Lego set), but always had the idea in his mind.  For his birthday this year, he had a few things on an amazon wish list, but mostly asked family for cash toward his iPod purchase.   He had a few cards that came after his birthday that added to the tally.

One card was so great that Cooper didn't see the money fall out onto the floor.  :)

But when it was all tallied, Cooper had enough to buy his iPod!  We ordered it and he asked to look up the shipment tracking about every hour until finally...  it arrived!

Cooper couldn't wait to get it going!

It wasn't long before I had all sorts of great selfies coming my way from his iPod, which has iMessage.

Speaking of iMessage... we had to set some ground rules the first night about not sending me messages while 'sleeping'.   (The gibberish is him selecting the predictive words.)

There were also rules set about not messaging me asking me to come check on him.

We've worked through all the rules now, and Cooper is still allowed to have his iPod near at night for the white noise.  But should any of you receive late night message from Cooper, please report them to me.  :)  

Uncle Drew and Aunt Mikiah got Cooper a case to give it some protection. 

Cooper is very happy with his purchase and is enjoying having his own device.   And Bonus: He even had enough money left over to buy this crazy Kylo Ren costume! (combined with an Amazon gift card from Briones) He does have to give me my boots back every time he takes the costume off though.  :)
