The Jolly Big Guy

We set out on our annual trip over to our local Bass Pro Shop to see Santa.

But we were a little closer to Christmas than we usually try to do this... and the "Bass Passes" were all given out for the night!  So we hit up the activities...

Like making an ornament.

And BB-Gun target practice.

After a little Nerf Arrow Bow shooting we discovered Owen had had a blow out.

So, it was a good thing we didn't pull him out and sit him on Santa anyhow, or we might have had a Santa Suit dry cleaning bill on our tab!!  :)

Once cleaned up, we headed home and Owen helped Daddy make fruit cake.

A few days later, I took the boys back to BPS during the day.

And there wasn't even a line to see the big guy!

We had some quality time with St Nick, quite a long conversation.

Owen grabbed ahold of Santa's beard and held on tight!

This Santa was so sweet and didn't even mind.  He said that's why he doesn't wear whitening powder in his beard. And he even still gave Owen a candy cane.

We moved along to play with the racetrack.  But it wasn't working.   Since no one else was there to see him, Santa came over to see if he could help Miles out.

But sadly, even Santa's magic couldn't get it going.

Cooper moved on to more BB-Gun practice. He thinks he needs his own soon.  We'll see.

We sat and did a coloring page.

And tried out a few items before heading back home.

It was a great Santa experience.  The second time.  :)
