Working & Campout

Only one of my excuses for not keeping up to date here on the blog: Bad Internet.

We've had issues with our wi-fi dropping for a whole day at a time here and there.

So, one day we loaded up and went over to Derek's office for a while so I could work.

Which meant the boys did some work at the office too.

And also meant we got to eat lunch with Daddy!

That event brought us up to Labor Day weekend.

Yup! I'm that far behind.  Miles did some Dragon Training over breakfast.

And since Derek had a long weekend, they decided a backyard campout would be fun.

So on Sunday, they got the tent set up in preparation.

We went to dinner at friend's that evening and brought Coop's friend, Ethan, home with us to join in the campout fun.  

Three boys and Derek set up camp in the tent for the night.

It was a late start and took them until about midnight to calm down and sleep.

Miles crawled out in the morning and headed right for his swing.

After breakfast, the other boys joined him on the trampoline.

Ethan went home around lunch time...

Then the Mleynek boys caught up on some sleep!

...in their beds!
