When in Wichita

When we headed to Wichita, we left late in the day and drove into the night.  We arrived at my parent's house around 3:30am.  My sister and her family and come in from Texas and arrived a while before we did.  Everyone was sound asleep when we got in, so Owen met Aunt Angie first thing in the morning.

Then met his cousin, Jaedyn, a few minutes later.

The boys had better things to do than dote on babies...

Miles and Jonah had some immediate 'catch up' time around Papa's pond, while still in jammies.

Then checked up on the tiny turtle.

Aunt Mandy showed up soon and met Owen.

And Alexa introduced herself to her new cousin soon after.

Then he got a little too close for her comfort.

My sisters and I went out to lunch with some girlfriends.

Owen met Michelle... and was even wearing the outfit she sent us.

You just can't see it!

The Aunts took turns while I ate my own food too.

Back at Grandma's, There was no lack of attention from Cousins.

There was also fishing.

Miles has been paying a little more attention to casting his pole than playing and changing bait, so he's been catching fish!  And proud of it!

Owen made his first trip to Grandma's pool. 

He was totally impressed.  Can you tell?

He was the life of the pool party. 

The water was nice and warm and Grandma even got in with him.

My friend, Rachel, and her Kylee came over to meet Owen and chat for a while.

Then Alexa and I took a selfie.

But once she realized Gramma had another baby in her arms it was all over.

Lexa wasn't sure she approved, even when Gramma held her too.

Gramma snuggled Owen to sleep...

While Papa did the same for Daisy.  Or Daisy for Papa? 

That was all just in the first day!
