We brought Owen home from the hospital on Father's Day. And since we'd spent Derek's birthday in the hospital, my Mom helped Miles whip up Derek's favorite cake before we got home.
Shortly after we'd settled in, the boys brought out Derek's B-day and Father's Day gifts.

A little later, we grilled steak and my Mom made a delicious assortment of sides.
After dinner, Cooper lit the candles.
And we sang, "Happy Birthday" to Derek!
Who blew out the candles.
So we could all enjoy some cake.

Cooper enjoyed a little more Owen time too.
Grandma got her hands on Owen once things settled down for the night.
But that doesn't last long before the flurry of big brothers come around again.
But we made it to bed time on the first day!
