It's a Zoo!

After the boys stayed the night with the Mleynek grandparents, Aunt Mandy picked them up and her and Aunt Angie (who had arrived from Texas to pick up her kids) took all the kids to the zoo.

In the previous picture, Miles is holding the zoo key, something you put in these machines around the zoo and it tells facts about the animals.  My guys that it was way fun.

Then they moved on to explore.
(A few of them must not have gotten the memo to wear teal! ha)

They saw fish from "Underwater".

And goofed around taking pictures in front of the gorillas.

They went in the petting zoo with the sheep and goats.

And cooled off with a snow cone... finding out that Lexa really like them too!

And showed her gratitude for those who shared.

Aunt Angie brought along a picnic lunch to feed everyone.

Then, re-energized, they were off to see more!

Well, maybe re-energized.
Cooper apparently gave these two instructions about how to hold on so that Miles didn't fall and get hurt.  I'm so proud.  :)

They watched the elephant training.

...which they found out doesn't NOT smell very good!

And here Miles is warning Jonah that there is mud right there.

...since he found out by stepping in it!

Angie sent me this text from the zoo and it cracked me up!
(At Gatorland, in Florida, they had us on the lookout for the skunk ape, aka: BIGFOOT)

These kids had a super fun morning at the zoo!!
