KC - The Party

We all got ourselves ready at Tyler and Lauren's house then headed over to Aunt Brenda's for the graduation party. Once everyone was there, we wanted to take some pictures, including a shot of all the family that could be there. With that many people, that's always easy, right? :)

Especially with one little creature lover finding toads in Uncle Bruce's garden instead of paying attention about where to stand for a photo.

We got one though!  This is with my phone, hopefully Aunt Brenda's camera got a better one. HA.

Derek's cousin, Ryan, graduated from high school and Derek's brother, Drew, did too!

Congratulations, Guys!

 

We took some time to celebrate them both.

Drew's nephews are proud of him, so are the rest of us.

Then there was a little time to play while the rest of the party started.

It turned out to be a beautiful evening, so most of us enjoyed the patio and deck.

And Aunt Brenda knows how to do a party!  We had great food. 

And the boys always enjoy when they get to drink soda. 

They spent a little time in the basement playing UNO. 

It was a nice evening spent with family...

And Drew surprised the boys and gave them a Nintendo DS he didn't want anymore.  They were thrilled!  Thanks, Drew!

And thanks, Aunt Brenda & Uncle Bruce for throwing such a fun party.  We enjoyed ourselves.

We were on the road by 5am the next morning.

And back home around lunch time!  Thankful these guys ride well.

It was hard being so close to Wichita and not going all the way to see everyone else!  Especially since there was another graduation that weekend.  My brother-in-law, Jonathan, graduated from Wichita State University!!  Congratulation, Jonathan...  wish we could have made it to your party too.
