Wichita State's basketball team came to Peoria to visit us play Bradley University.
So just like last year, we got tickets to go cheer them on!
We did cheer, and our favorite team had a comfortable lead most of the game.
The boys always remember that the Peoria Civic Center has snacks.
That may be part of why they like sporting events. :)
Cooper ran down a little lower when the cheerleaders shot t-shirts out of the t-shirt cannon. He didn't actually catch one, but a nice gentleman near him and did and gave it to Coop.
...to bad it's a Bradley shirt. Cooper still thought it was fun.
Trey got a ticket to the game last minute...
And ended up with a third row seat!!
We were much higher up, but still enjoyed the game!
Even when the Shockers gave us a heart attack and were only up by two points with just seconds left in the game!
But they pulled it off! (59-62)

We hung around after the game and Derek was Cooper's hero when he tracked down Ron Baker for a photo! This was Cooper's main goal in going to the game... so exciting! Ron was in a hurry but super nice about the whole thing.
The boys now point him out on tv more often and talk about him as if he's a family friend. :)
